How to add new users to manage your Minecraft server.

In our web portal we offer a very handy feature where you can invite users to manage your server with you. When you invite a user, you can choose which permissions they have and what they can do. This is a great way to play with friends and allow them to turn the server on and off, add plugins, manage your server and perhaps even change configuration.

To add a user, you should open the web Ui and click on the users tab.

Click on new user

This will open a new window; in this window you have to add the email address of the user you want to invite and afterwards you can select all permissions this user should have.

There are plenty of permissions you can give a player. The window itself clearly explains what each permissions allow a user to do so read it carefully.

Then you should click each box or section you want to allow a user access to. Click the button on the top right to give a user access to all permissions in that section

Or click the individual permission to give them access to this specific permission.

After you have filled in the email address and selected the permissions you want a user to have you can click invite user in the top or bottom right

This will send the user a mail that invites them to create an account and with that account they can access the server and do the actions you selected for them.

On the page you can now see all users that have access, if they have 2fa enabled which is highly recommended especially when they have very powerful permissions. Additionally, you can see how much permissions they have. Further on the right if you click the pencil, you can edit the permissions they have and if you click the trashcan, you can delete this user.

All in all, it is quite easy to add users to your server. If you have any questions regarding this topic, feel free to contact support.
